All temperature calibrations are performed in accordance with ASTM International E220 Standard Test Method for Calibration of Thermocouples by Comparison Techniques.
All test standards used in our laboratory are directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Nanmac Scope of Direct Comparison Calibration from 0⁰C to a WORLD LEADING 1700 C (32⁰F to 3092⁰F). Below 0⁰C available upon request.
Nanmac's laboratory is equipped to calibrate and certify sheathed, unsheathed thermocouples, bare or insulated thermocouple wire, as well as RTD and Thermistor sensors.
Nanmac laboratory will calibrate sensor assemblies built by Nanmac or others. Nanmac can also provide calibration services for your sensors which require recertification under AMS2750E.
Length: Standard probe and wire lengths minimum of 8”; but shorter sensors can be accomodated . Nanmac has developed custom calibration furnaces that can allow for calibration of nearly unlimited length devices (Ex, 5 ft or more).
Nanmac’s custom equipment can also Direct Comparison Calibrate individual sensors within a Multi-Junction sensor at nearly unlimited lengths.
Diameter: Standard capability of diameters up to ½”. Special capabilities to calibrate sensors up to 2” in diameter
Nanmac can calibrate all standard ASTM / IEC type sensors as well as any non standard sensor with defined Electromotive Force (emf) formula coefficients as well as RTD’s and thermistors.
Calibration data format can be supplied in °F, °C, ⁰K, or Mv.
Nanmac has the capability to pressure test sensors and high pressure seals up to 40,000 P.S.I.
Vacuum Leak Testing
Utilizing a Helium Leak Detection, Nanmac can leak test sensor tubes and sealing components at vacuum levels to 20 Milli Torr with flow rates as low as 10-9 cc/ second.
Nanmac can test sensor insulation resistance to 66 Gig Ω at 500V
