Resistance Thermometers

Resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) have a more familiar name in the engineering field, resistance thermometers. They sense process temperatures accurately to a high degree of repeatability in a wide variety of elements. Resistance thermometers are made of metallic elements whose change in resistance is a function of temperature. To work, a small electrical current is sent across the element, and the voltage is proportional to the resistance. It is measured and converted into units of electrical calibration. Most high-temperature RTDs and resistance thermometers have a low resistance and a small change in resistance per unit of temperature range that compensates for the resistance of the lead wire. Nanmac knows that your project demands only the best parts, and our resistance thermometers for sale are the best in the industry.
