Tantalum is a very hard, ductile refractory metal which is commonly used in high- temperature applications. With its high melting point and resistance to corrosion, Nanmac utilizes Tantalum for our thermocouple sheaths when environmental conditions aren’t appropriate for Molybdenum sheaths.
